Good, Random, Fun: Let's go!

After having a cold for about four days, it was a Saturday to just go somewhere and see something pretty.  So, my husband and I just went.  First stop was Penzey's Spices.  I love it in there! 

 We had a great time choosing some deliciously aromatic herbs and spices.  Plus, just being in the store was a delight.  The way your feet sound on the wooden floor, the smells, the helpful staff who always want to talk recipes.  What's not to love?

This is liquid gold.  So Tasty, tasty, tasty.  Your Chocolate Chip Cookies will never taste the same again!

  A new spice....Berbere Seasoning.  It is a North African spice that will be going in an Ethiopian dish that Eldest Child is going to make for us.  Can't wait!

A definite "visions of sugarplums danced in their heads" kind of moment on the morning of St. Nicholas Day.
