The old "atoms move more quickly when heated trick............"

Creative Child has performed his second experiment this year in science.....we took pictures!

Prove:  Atoms move more quickly when heated than when cooled.

He heated some water.................

He got two glass bowls from the cupboard and labeled them hot and cold.......

He poured the boiling water in one bowl and the same amount of cold tap water in the other bowl.........
Then he......waited.........for the water to become perfectly still in both bowls..........
He put red food dye in the hot water.......and here is what happened over the span of a minute...........

He put blue food dye in the cold water............and here is what happened................

After three minutes, it is clear that the food coloring in the  hot water spread much faster than the food coloring in the cold water....

THEREFORE...........atoms move more quickly when heated than when cooled.
