A Strand of deep purple, velvety petunias gladdening the mantle top.

"The Last Hurrah" party for friends who are heading off to college.  Even though it rained, they braved the weather and talked around the fire pit late into the night.

 {Funny}

Our sad excuse for an umbrella - but it still worked pretty well.  

{Real}

Packing for the last college drop off to the East Coast.  We have one on the very West Coast and one in the Midwest and now one out East.  All these good-byes are making my heart droop.

One last movie with her brothers.  They picked "It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World".  You just can't be sad when you watch that movie!
Then Tony called from his car and told me to go look outside at an approaching thunderhead.  It was amazing.
