I visited at Ann Voskamp's blog, A Holy Experience, this week end and I discovered a wonderfully simple way to keep each day of Lent. The Easter Tree. Each day of Lent has a scripture passage to pray over and also a commitment for that day. Each day comes as an ornament that you can hang on your Easter Tree with ribbon. I downloaded the printables from Ann's blog and made the ornaments. Now my Palm Tree in the oratory has a committed purpose. Ann, if you ever find my blog out here in the remotest of blogospheres, I want to thank you for your wisdom, and your willingness to share so deeply and say what needs to be said so simply and eloquently. I am grateful to you even though I have never met you!
