I finally remembered to take pictures of a wonderful spring event that takes place every year at the beginning of April. The park up the street is literally carpeted in these little white flowers. It is so breathtaking to walk by and take it all in. Today, I was able to run over there and take a few shots, but they just don't do it justice. But you can get an idea at least how pretty it is. The carpet is short lived. The first mowing of the season takes it all away but it is worth that short spell of wonderful.

This is what happens when two middle aged parents are left to their own devices while waiting at the movie theater for a movie to start.
Fun
This delectable caramel cheese cake was made entirely from scratch by Dancing Child for his best friend's birthday. The fun part was transporting it from our house to his friend's. It slid, it leaked off the plate, and slid again. BUT we made it and all was well and.....deliciousness ensued.
That carpet of flowers is amazing! Transporting the cake sounds like fun... But I'm sure eating it was much easier! Have a lovely week, Denise!
