Some people will tell you there is a great deal of poetry and fine sentiment in a chest of tea.
-Ralph Waldo Emerson
There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea.
-Henry James
When tea becomes ritual, it takes a place at the heart of our ability to see greatness in small things. Where is beauty to be found? In great things that, like everything else, are doomed to die, or in small things that aspire to nothing, yet know how to set a jewel of infinity in a single moment.
-Muriel Barbery
I love the look of loose tea!
ReplyDeleteThere just seems something so grand about a teapot and cup of tea. I don't enjoy it all the time, but love a good cup of Blood Orange tea (especially in a china cup) or cold Chai tea in the summertime. Lovely photos. :)
