PHFR: Early June week

Pretty
Graduation Day was beautiful for Youngest Child and his buddies.

We had a Mass and small ceremony to celebrate the 8th graders and Seniors.  I have known these kids since they were around two or three years old.  And now they are the "older kids".  Time does march on.  I think they will all do something beautiful for God, for their families and for each other.  I am so proud of this little "band of brothers"

Happy
Eldest Child's CD release concert/party.  We had such a great time!  We got to see old friends, family, and some new faces in the crowd!  The wine flowed sweetly, the music was splendid and a good time was had by all!

Funny and Real
With cousins at the ZOO!  One of my favorite things is watching big old teenaged boys around little kids.  You just see a great side of them that they don't always reveal...that soft, sweet center!  They let them climb all over them, they give them soccer tips, they tell really dumb jokes that get a laugh every time.  It's just a really fun thing to see.  We loved having younger cousins around once again!

  2. Watching children grow from babies to young adults is an amazing thing. I'd have to say it is one of the best things about growing older. They all look like a great bunch.

  3. Happy Graduation! How exciting that your eldest is releasing a CD!
I love the Zoo pictures. There is something very melt the heart about teens looking after little kids. Have a lovely weekend!
